CONTROL ROOM & REMOTE MONITORING
Your cameras and security systems can do more than record. Our control room helps turn alerts into useful information so the right action can be taken quickly.
Designed for homes, estates, businesses, warehouses, industrial sites and other locations where security needs to be actively watched instead of only reviewed after an incident.
HOW REMOTE MONITORING WORKS
The technology may be advanced, but the process should be easy to understand.
1. AN EVENT HAPPENS
A camera, alarm or supported device detects activity at the site.
2. THE SYSTEM FILTERS IT
AI can help distinguish useful events such as a person or vehicle from ordinary movement that does not require attention.
3. AN OPERATOR VERIFIES
A control-room operator reviews the event to understand what is actually happening before escalating it.
4. THE RIGHT ACTION FOLLOWS
The agreed procedure is followed — for example contacting a nominated person, reporting the event or coordinating response.
AI VIDEO SEARCH — SEE IT IN ACTION
AcuPick 2.0 is a current Dahua video-search technology. In simple terms, it helps an operator find a person or vehicle in recorded footage much faster than manually watching hours of video.
Example: if you have an image of a suspicious vehicle, compatible systems can help search recorded video for matching appearances and show where that vehicle was seen.
Official Dahua Technology demonstration. Technology availability depends on compatible cameras, recorders and system configuration.
WHAT CAN BE MONITORED?
CCTV EVENTS
Camera alerts involving people, vehicles or movement in selected areas can be sent for review instead of relying only on someone watching a wall of screens.
ALARMS
Intrusion alarms can be monitored and, where the system allows it, CCTV can help verify what caused the alarm before escalation.
SYSTEM HEALTH
Supported cameras and equipment can be checked for offline or unhealthy status so a fault can be reported before it becomes a long-term blind spot.
COMMON TERMS — EXPLAINED
ANPR / LPR — Number Plate Recognition
Cameras automatically read vehicle number plates. This can be used for entrance control, searching vehicle activity or keeping a record of vehicles entering and leaving a site.
Facial Recognition
Compatible systems can compare a detected face against an approved or watch list. It can be useful for controlled access or finding specific people in recorded footage, depending on the system and legal requirements.
AI Analytics
Software analyses what the camera sees and looks for useful events — for example a person crossing a boundary, a vehicle entering an area or unusual activity. It reduces the number of irrelevant alerts an operator needs to deal with.
Remote Health Monitoring
We check the status of supported equipment remotely. If a device goes offline or becomes unstable, the fault can be reported and a technician can be arranged where required.
Off-site Storage
Selected footage can be stored away from the customer site. This gives an additional copy of important video even if the recorder at the premises is damaged or stolen.
THE RIGHT MONITORING FOR THE RIGHT SITE
Not every customer needs every feature. We assess the cameras, alarm system, internet connection, network and the customer’s risk before recommending a monitoring setup.
